It is considered one of the leading industrial companies in the field of the Mechanical Industries in Libya.
The complex has an area of 40 fenced hectares including 15 ceiled hectares with the productive units such as industrial workshops and the remaining area as services units such as the power generating units, industrial water desalination stations and the fuel stations in addition to the forging and the cars parks. Also, there is housing village to the workers of the complex consist of 100 houses and integrated clinic with all its medical equipments.
The industrial complex of Esbae contains more than 2000 machines and units distributed on four productive and five service workshops as following;
mechanical works workshop
it covers an area of 2.5 hectares including several multi specialization productive lines such as turnery, crafting, puncturing, whetting, welding, thermal processing and galvanization to enable it from making all spare parts according to the international standred and the parts that have special specifications.
Moulds and tools workshop
The industrial complex of Esbae distinguishes with self procurement of moulds and the auxiliary tools for production. Workshop was established for such purpose on area of 1.4 hectares provided with 200 machines with high accuracy for making moulds and other tools required by production process.
Forging & Casting workshop
This workshop is located on area of 1.6 hectares for producing casting and Forging with its various kinds and sizes.
It is divided into two main divisions are;
Forging department; includes several lines are;
Steel iron melting line
Non iron materials casting line such as copper and aluminum
Casting department;
it produces casting and the semi-made materials containing № 4 main lamination lines and one horizontal with closed casting technology and other vertical line for the free vertical casting.
In addition to the technology of cores making and the used wooden and metal models in the casting process.
Rubber materials making workshop
It consist of several specialized halls for weighting and preparing the entering raw materials in the production of industries and the lines of mixing, cutting and pressing rubber. Also the workshop produces № 22 various types of mixtures with high specifications and quality of the main program for making gaskets.
Training and vocational qualification center
For the urgent and continuous need for training the qualifying the technical and administrative cadres and raising the efficiency of workers as well as matching the scientific development, the complex was provided with training the qualifying center for providing the needs in the various needs of turnery – crafting – whetting – welding – carpentry – smithery – electricity – filling – general mechanics and containing № 108 various machines including 8 studying class for 165 trainers seats provided with illustration means. The center was provided with scientific library in addition to special class for the professional safety and sportive hall. It also has the capability to make technical technological courses for external entities in various specializations for following up scientific conferences, making industrial researches and supervising the graduation projects inside the complex by the students of universities and higher institutes.
The complex includes number of laboratories following the department of quality control for controlling the quality of products during the production process as following;
The central laboratory for measurement devices calibration; including devices for calibrating the equipments of the used for controlling the quality of production.
Mechanical laboratory; for testing the mechanical characteristics.
Chemical laboratory; for testing the Chemical characteristics.
Galvanization laboratory; for testing the chemical liquids and controlling the galvanized pieces.
Spectrographic analysis laboratory; for analyzing the various minerals for identifying the chemical composition of it.
Casting sand laboratory; for testing the used sand samples in casting and testing the used sand mixtures.
Rubber laboratory; for testing rubber mixtures from its chemical characteristics and mechanical characteristics and its bearing to the natural conditions.
